He supposed perhaps the chase could keep him occupied. The tremendous and powerful body of his trembled for a moment as he stretched and yawned letting the drowsiness of sleep fade from him. He resolved to give them a head start. scratching his chest where the sword had been, five seconds fell into ten. A powerful leap of his body sent him rocketing forth. His movement easily matching that of even the most advanced stepping techniques. He was closing in, his shadow loomed over them and with a laugh and a bounce. His feet slam into the ground cracking the stone beneath his feet. Kenpachi Zaraki craved the thrill of battle, and he would have it. Without a single word his sword was drawn and he was immediately next to his foe. no, a foe was a rival, somebody who could pose a risk, this runt would never give him the chance to cut loose. So he closed the distance with his PREY. A wildman's grin spread across his face and his powerful musculature shifted with his body. A blade rising above his head.

He slammed his weapon into the ground in a staggering slash, a burst of power flying right past the brat in front of him to make chase for his friend. Should it succeed it would DEMOLISH the poor soul. Rending his flesh open for the world to see. Such was the brutality of the squad 11 captain. but without missing a beat his arm twisted and swung towards his foe, seeking to cleave them in half if they failed to defend. "Come on, this is boring, like you're not even trying." Captain Zaraki rose up to his full height. Just short of seven feet he towered above most men. "Maybe I should have just finished napping? Come on, can't you fight at all?" Even if they couldnt let him use his full strength. He would have as much fun as possible. as the third was still finishing his incantation the captain let out a tremendous laugh. "Kido? what? you can't even fight like a real man?

The caster never got the chance to finish as in a fraction of a moment Kenpachi was in front of him. A fierce yell erupting from his chest as he swung his blade to stop the spell. And just when he thought he had it. A burst of lightning tore out from the hands of his enemy. It hit dead on and sent him rocketing backwards into the ground. Pain. He had just been hurt. Amusement. He was laughing. Cackling even. Like a madman. He had just fallen for one of the first tricks of a kido master. Dual casting. The incantation for the first spell was only a diversion to distract him from the real attack. He rose up from the smoking crater left by his enemy. His captains haori torn right apart by the force of the assault. on his chest a massive burn wound, itself smoking from the heat. Oh he felt that, it was obvious now. Grimacing as he touched the wound, Grinning as he surveyed the three before him.

"NOW THATS WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT! COME ON, LET'S SEE WHAT ELSE YOU'VE GOT!" So the other two, that hit and run tactic they had been using for the entire fight. It was a distraction. The one up there. She was the real threat. He stared them dead in the eye. The grey walls of the city around them, the clear blue sky above. even the stone brick beneath their feet. It was perfect. It had been ages since he had gotten to cut loose. This was a rare chance. And he was gonna enjoy it.
